M+ is an art museum located in the West Kowloon Cultural District of Hong Kong. Considered Asia's first global museum of contemporary visual culture, it was designed by renowned architecture firm Herzog and de Meuron. The museum features 85 Planar benches with a wood finish complementing the prominent use of bamboo throughout interior spaces.

The newly redesigned SFMOMA prominently features Studio Brovhn’s Planar collection in the form of 80 indoor wooden gallery benches, 13 outdoor metal benches, and 2 custom ticketing stations. Working closely with the architectural team responsible for the public spaces Studio Brovhn customized the various Planar products to complement the architectural settings, and to meet the specific needs of the Museum.
2017
NVIDIA Endeavor is a new headquarters building in Santa Clara, CA designed by global architecture firm Gensler. The two-storey facility spans about 500,000 square feet and accommodates 2,500 employees. The building is triangular shaped, and at each point there are two large-scale groupings of Planar metal benches. Planar wood benches are featured in conference rooms for extra seating.
Planar metal benches at NVIDIA Endeavor were highly customized for the unique, angular nature of the spaces and for ease of installation. The benches function as seating, and as a barrier to the angled building columns positioned at each end of the bench layouts. The Planar metal benches match the colour of the sculptural metal ceiling forms above for an overall complementary aesthetic.

Planar bench is defined by a slender side profile subtly angling towards a thicker core. Legs on either end support a horizontal span intersecting at carefully executed, mitered joints.
Structure in solid wood.

A two-piece set of wooden accessory blocks. Sky Tower pieces can be positioned in a variety of different ways, and placed horizontal or vertical, encouraging evolving configurations. Made from solid oak. The taller block, triangular in shape, is lacquered in Yellow Cheer, Pink Blossom, or Blue Sail on one side, and stained natural on remaining sides. The lower block is stained natural.

A collection of side tables designed for use individually, or as a group creating multiple looks and serving various functions.
Block A is a largest table of the series, and is meant to be used as a low table. Block B is a smaller version of Block A, and can be used horizontally as a low table or turned upright for use as a side table. Block C is a multi-functional table serving as a display box of sorts. Block C features a removable lid, concealing items in the compartment below.

An accessory collection with an intriguing form in the shape of a v, generated from a combination of 20 and 90-degree angles. V Tower series has a profile that is simultaneously organic and angular, open and closed in profile. V Tower pieces can be stacked, and positioned horizontal or vertical. Made from solid oak. Lacquered Yellow Cheer, Pink Blossom, or Blue Sail on the inner side. Stained natural on the outside.

A collection of side tables in three different versions: symmetrical (rectangular), asymmetrical (rectangular), and round. Incredibly lightweight (less then 4 lbs.) and strong.
Made entirely out of aluminium.

X-Ref is an accessory bold and graphic in spirit. X-Ref pieces can be positioned flat, or on their side. Available in two sizes. Made from solid oak. Finished in a combination of Vivid orange lacquer, and natural stained wood.

Disco is a decorative and sculptural wall hanging collection of circular panels. Disco pieces can be displayed individually, or clustered together to create unique arrangements varying in colour and overall shape. Solid wood structure.

Glacier draws inspiration from Icelandic glaciers – by their mass, and random geometric forms. Glacier features open and closed gables playing playing with the concept of solid and void. Glacier is defined by a top with a laser cut pattern.

Urban-ism is a six-piece set of wooden accessory blocks. Designed to be free in form, encouraging endless configurations and play. The collection includes parts in two different heights, and is made from rectangular and triangular shapes. Made from solid oak. Each block is lacquered Yellow Cheer, Pink Blossom, or Blue Sail on one side, and stained natural on remaining sides.

Facet bench is characterized by a rectangular top resting on inset, angled legs. Irregularly shaped and with multiple angled cuts Facet legs have a unique, intriguing form. Structure in solid wood.

Rise is an upholstered bench defined by metal legs with a soft, angular profile. The cushion top is panelled, and is available in leather. The legs are positioned at far ends of the bench. Legs are made out of steel, and have a powder coat finish.
Rise is the sibling design of Twig bench.

Bridge table features a top resting on two inset legs. A structural component, the metal profile at the top and bottom of legs, also acts as a defining ornamental detail. Structure in solid wood. Metal details in chromed, or powder coated steel.

Elemental is a series of bins and bags created from an innovative technical material that is extremely lightweight, strong, tear and water-resistant. Bins provide places to store clutter and other everyday items. Elemental bags are a carrying and home storage tote.

Twig is an upholstered bench defined by legs that are simultaneously organic and geometric in appearance. The panelled cushion top is in leather. Legs are inset from the ends of the bench resulting in an open and extended profile. Legs are made out of steel, and have a powder coat finish.
